This movie was awesome. It was funny when it needed to be and had some excellent fight scenes. For some reason the cheesiness is something I loved, only because i knew it was all intentional, there doesnt seem to be any accidental cheese in either volume of Kill Bill. There were a few instances of the dialogue going on too long but it really didn't hurt anybody. While i sat there I also realized what my greatest fear is too, in one scene The Bride is buried alive, I felt claustrophobic in a large theatre.
Pai Mei turned out to be the best character in any movie ever, he was a complete asshole with lines like, "my pathetic friend, is there anything you can do?" and "Stand up and let me look at your ridiculous face." How could you not enjoy watching him? And when he is pleased or displeased(which is most of the time) he strokes his goatee in a very comedic fashion. It's probably a reference to some obscure asian film I have never seen but it still made me laugh.
I highly recommend this movie, assuming you have seen the first one. Yet even if you didn't enjoy the first one it's possible that you might love this one, they really are entirely different movies. I give it a 5 out of 5.
